Alternatively spliced transcript variantsthat encode different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]. Function: Probable metalloprotease which hydrolyzescystinyl-bis-glycine. May be involved in meiosis (By similarity). Subunit: Homodimer; disulfide-linked (By similarity).
